Meet This Month's Partner

Raising A Reader Aspen to Parachute is an early literacy and family engagement organization committed to bridging the learning gap for children in our community. Research shows that regular reading and shared story time foster language development, ignite creativity, and strengthen the bonds between parents and children.

Our programs provide a life-changing experience for children from birth to age five, guiding families to create daily reading routines that support healthy brain development, nurture parent-child relationships, and build essential literacy skills for long-term academic and life success. Your support can spark a love for reading and help shape the leaders of tomorrow.

From Aspen to Parachute, we dream of a community where every child enters kindergarten ready, excited, and equipped to succeed as a reader. Let’s work together to build a brighter future for all children—one book at a time!

Community Involvement

Giving Back Partner With Us In Supporting Our Community

Since opening our doors in 1978, we’ve been dedicated to strengthening our community by supporting local charities, non-profits, and events. In this spirit, we launched the Community Partners Program in September 2019 to further this mission. Through Glenwood Springs Ford Community Partners, we collaborate with a different local non-profit each month to raise both funds and awareness for their vital work.

Our commitment is simple yet profound: for every vehicle we sell, we set aside $50 to match community giving up to $2,500. This means that together with our customers and partners, we can raise up to $5,000 for each featured organization. It’s a powerful way of joining hands with our neighbors and amplifying the impact of their efforts.

Moreover, we leverage our media platforms to spotlight these non-profits and share their stories with the community. By doing so, we help connect people who are eager to support causes that matter most to them. Together, through compassion and collaboration, we're not just selling vehicles; we're driving positive change in Glenwood Springs and beyond.

At Glenwood Springs Ford, we believe in driving more than cars- we strive to drive positive change. Our Community Partners Program is built around three core pillars that reflect our commitment to making a meaningful impact.

Youth-Empowerment

Youth Empowerment

This pillar supports programs and organizations that help young people thrive by providing access to education, mentorship, and skills development. By investing in youth initiatives, we aim to foster leadership, creativity, and confidence, ensuring the next generation has the tools to succeed and positively impact their communities.

Community-Safety-and-Wellness-Icon

Community Safety and Wellness

Our focus here is on enhancing the well-being and security of our community members. We partner with organizations promoting health, safety, and social services, from emergency response support to mental health advocacy. By prioritizing safety and wellness, we strive to create a healthier, more resilient community.

Outdoor-Recreation-and-Conservation

Outdoor Recreation and Conservation

Recognizing the beauty and importance of our natural surroundings, this pillar emphasizes the protection and enjoyment of outdoor spaces. We work with groups dedicated to preserving local ecosystems, expanding recreational opportunities, and promoting sustainable practices to ensure our environment remains vibrant for future generations.
