Ford Blue Advantage

Eligibility

Vehicles of any make and model, up to 10 years old, with fewer than 120,000 miles are eligible to be Blue-certified.

Only Ford vehicles up to 6 years old with fewer than 80,000 miles can be Gold-certified.

Inspection Process

All certified vehicles undergo a rigorous inspection process performed by Ford-trained technicians.

Blue-certified vehicles must pass a 139-point inspection, including vehicle history, road test, diagnostics, underhood and underbody components, hybrid system, and convenience features.

Gold certification requires a 172-point inspection encompassing exterior & interior conditions in addition to those covered by the Blue certification.

Both Blue and Gold certifications include checking the CARFAX Vehicle History Report for odometer issues, fire and frame damages, branded titles, flood and salvage vehicles, and accident and vehicle title histories.

Warranty

A Comprehensive Limited Warranty covers all Blue-certified vehicles for 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.

A Comprehensive Limited Warranty covers Gold-certified vehicles for 12 months or 12,000 miles and a Powertrain Limited Warranty for seven years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Roadside Assistance

The Blue Certification program includes 90 days of 24/7 roadside assistance for accidents and warranty and non-warranty problems ranging from flat tires to dead batteries. Coverage includes:

• Towing help up to $100
• Travel expense reimbursement up to $1,000 for five days of lodging, meals, and vehicle rental if your car breaks down more than 100 miles from home
• Destination expense of up to $75 for emergency transportation to your immediate destination
• Rental car reimbursement of up to $35 per day for up to 10 days
• Free delivery of up to 2 gallons of fuel to your vehicle if it runs out of gas
• Lockout assistance of up to $50 to unlock vehicle doors

All Gold-certified units include the same 24/7 roadside assistance for seven years.

FordPass Rewards Points

Blue-certified vehicle buyers receive 11,000 FordPass Rewards Points redeemable on their first maintenance visit. Buyers of Gold-certified cars get 22,000 FordPass Rewards Points redeemable on their first two maintenance visits.
