Bronco Vs. Toyota 4Runner | Glenwood Springs Ford

The Bronco offers exceptional value with an entry price of $28,500 (up to $46,980 for the high-end version). It’s a versatile, spacious vehicle that can tackle challenging off-road conditions or smooth highways with equal capability. Relaunched earlier this year, Ford reports that more than 150,000 people pre-ordered the Bronco before it started to hit the showrooms.

Winner of the 2021 Motor1 Star Award for Best Adventure Vehicle, this classic has also claimed a prestigious IF Design Gold Award for its stunning reinvention.

Powertrain

The modern version of the Ford Bronco combines the retro style of the original Bronco with underpinnings, performance, and reliability that are distinctly 21st century. Drivers can choose from the base model 2.3l Ecoboost Turbo I4 (270hp/310 lb/ft of torque) or a 2.7l Ecoboost Turbo V6 (310hp, 410 lb/ft of torque). The 2.3l comes with a 6-speed manual plus crawler gear transmission, with the option of a 10-speed automatic transmission. The V6 is available just with the 10-speed automatic transmission.

In contrast, the Toyota 4Runner has one engine choice, a 4.0l V6, that delivers 270hp and 278 lb-ft of torque. If torque is your passion, a Bronco from Glenwood Springs Ford will be a great choice.

Interior

The Ford Bronco design will emerge the victor on any terrain. The holes in the interior floor let water drain out to the secure dashboard rail. It features a practical dash, washable rubber floors, and equipment storage seats.

Retro upholstery and sophisticated design make this SUV stylish enough for urban driving without losing any of the power and practicality you need when roads get tough.

The Toyota 4Runner has a bland interior and lacks the Bronco’s unique styling and feature options. With more than 200 choices available to Bronco drivers for customization, each Ford Bronco driver gets a vehicle tailored to their preferences.

Tech and Features

The different options you’ll get with a Bronco depend on which version you pick. We suggest checking out the Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak trims. These can include USB charging ports, terrain management systems, an autonomous safety system, an entertainment system, and heated front seats.

As you can see, the Bronco provides a wide selection of 21st Century amenities beautifully packaged in an iconic, retro-style exterior.
