Ford supports numerous events and education opportunities to make sure kids have a strong foundation in STEAM:

  • Girl’s Fast Track Races – Female engineers from Ford lead a group of Girl Scouts through lessons on design, weight distribution, aerodynamics, and more, and the day ends with an thrilling race.

  • Henry Ford Learning Institute (HFLI) – Experiences like the HFLI Design Thinking workshops help educators integrate creative thinking and collaborative problem solving into their schools.

  • Ford STEAM Labs – This six-part series of workshops give students the basics to take part in the tech industry and STEAM careers. It includes sessions on app prototyping, creating a business plan, and pitch presentations.
